We are seeking a highly experienced and professional Account Management Director to join our North American sales organization.

Position Summary

The Account Management Director serves as a strategic partner to KORE’s most valued clients. This individual is responsible for driving sustainable growth, maximizing customer lifetime value, and ensuring client satisfaction within an existing portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor who can secure long-term revenue, drive the adoption of KORE’s full suite of services, and foster deep, lasting business relationships. This role requires a candidate with direct and extensive experience in the IoT industry, specifically with connectivity, PaaS/SaaS, or managed services.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Strategic Account Growth & Financial Strategy:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue growth, retention, and customer satisfaction targets within an assigned portfolio.
  • Identify, pursue, and close upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities across the entire KORE services portfolio.
  • Conduct regular, data-driven Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with clients to demonstrate value, align on future strategy, and uncover new requirements.
  • Analyze KORE’s competitive positioning to proactively defend accounts and expand our market footprint.

Customer Relationship & Advocacy:

  • Establish and nurture deep, multi-threaded relationships with key client stakeholders, from day-to-day contacts to C-Level executives.
  • Act as the "voice of the customer" within KORE, championing their needs and ensuring cross-functional teams are aligned to deliver exceptional service.
  • Articulate the KORE value proposition with precision, ensuring clients understand the full benefit of our partnership and technology ecosystem.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and escalation for designated accounts, demonstrating leadership and ensuring swift resolution to any challenges.

Business Process and Strategic Excellence:

  • Manage the entire post-sales lifecycle, from onboarding and adoption to renewal and expansion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account activity, opportunity pipeline, and revenue forecasts in CRM (Salesforce).
  • Prepare, negotiate, and finalize commercial proposals and contractual documentation for renewals and service expansions.
  • Collaborate effectively with Business Development, Solutions Engineering, and Customer Support teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in strategic account management or complex B2B sales.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience selling managed IoT services, platform solutions (PaaS/SaaS), or complex connectivity, with a demonstrable track record of managing enterprise accounts.
  • Deep understanding of the IoT ecosystem, including connectivity technologies (5G, LTE-M, eSIM), device lifecycle management, and the role of global IoT service providers.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience and a strong network within one or more of KORE's key verticals: Healthcare (Connected Health), Fleet Management & Logistics, or Industrial IoT.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding multi-million dollar revenue and retention targets through a consultative, value-based selling methodology.
  • Formal training in account management or sales methodologies (e.g., SAMA, MEDDIC, Challenger) is highly preferred.

  • Technology & Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the business and technical drivers of IoT, from global connectivity and device management to full-stack application solutions.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent command of English, both oral and written, with the ability to convey complex solutions clearly and build compelling business cases.
