Position Summary: As a teacher with Tulsa Public Schools, you will be tasked with creating aflexible early childhood/elementary grade program and a class environment favorable to learning and personalgrowth. You will establish effective rapport with all stakeholders (students, families andcolleagues); motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide agood academic foundation; and master the objectives of each lesson set forth by districtcurriculum.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree
Experience:
Previous experience working with children preferred
Previous teaching experience preferred
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.
Oklahoma Teaching Certification in Elementary Education or applicable area or theability to be Emergency Certified inElementary Education or applicable area
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Required to attend training in the science of reading
Required to maintain professional certification and attend professionaldevelopment provided by the district
