Job Description
ICM Solutions - an industry leader in crushing, screening, and white paving equipment - seeks an experienced Field Service Technician with crushing and screening expertise to support our growing team in Idaho. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who thrives in the field, enjoys complex troubleshooting, and takes pride in keeping critical production equipment running safely and efficiently.
You will provide expert-level service support for both customer-owned equipment and ICM rental fleets, working in the shop and at customer sites. Success in this role requires strong mechanical aptitude, electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver practical, real-world solutions in demanding environments.
What You'll Do:
- Work safely at all times by following company, customer, and site-specific safety programs
- Comply with all lockout/tagout, MSHA, and facility safety requirements
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on crushing and screening equipment
- Provide on-site support for troubleshooting, emergency repairs, setup, configuration, and commissioning
- Support rental equipment lifecycle, including off-rent inspections, repairs, and decommissioning
- Recommend best practices and develop custom solutions for unique application challenges
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain findings, solutions, and repair needs
- Accurately identify required parts and components and coordinate repair planning
- Build long-term customer relationships through responsiveness, professionalism, and technical expertise
- Maintain service truck, tools, and job-specific equipment in company-ready condition
- Complete manufacturer and customer-required training to remain compliant and current
- Travel to customer sites and work weekends, overtime, or out of town as business demands require
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with crushing, screening, and aggregate equipment
- Strong working knowledge of conveyors, crushers, screens, and related systems
- Proven experience diagnosing hydraulic and electrical systems in field environments
- MSHA Certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in challenging conditions
