This role is focused on driving growth within complex environmental services, helping organizations manage waste, hazardous materials, and sustainability challenges through tailored solutions. You will act as a strategic partner to customers across industries, identifying needs and delivering integrated environmental service offerings that support compliance, efficiency, and decarbonization goals. The position blends consultative sales, technical understanding of environmental solutions, and strong relationship management in a highly regulated and evolving industry. You will collaborate closely with operational and technical teams to design solutions that address complex waste streams and sustainability requirements. Success in this role requires a balance of business development skills and environmental expertise to expand existing accounts and win new opportunities. This is a high-impact, field-oriented role contributing directly to sustainability and circular economy initiatives.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of customers requiring environmental and waste management solutions, with a focus on growth and retention
- Identify new business opportunities across environmental services, including hazardous waste, recycling, field services, and sustainability solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding regulatory, operational, and environmental challenges to design tailored solutions
- Collaborate with operations, technical teams, and service specialists to ensure successful delivery of complex environmental services
- Drive revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and securing new business within assigned territory
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations aligned with customer needs and compliance requirements
- Maintain strong pipeline management and accurate forecasting of sales performance
- Ensure customer satisfaction by proactively addressing service issues and identifying continuous improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- 3–7+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or environmental/waste services industry
- Strong understanding of environmental regulations, waste streams, or sustainability-focused solutions preferred
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and develop long-term customer relationships
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical services into business value
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a field-based, customer-facing role
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing pipelines and sales forecasting
- Bachelor’s degree in business, environmental science, engineering, or related field preferred
