About This Position
Founded in 2006, Barton & Gray Mariners Club has set the standard for luxury as a premier yacht club, delivering elevated on-the-water experiences across 33 luxurious harbors. Our Captains play a key role in bringing these experiences to life, combining professionalism and high-end hospitality. To support our continued growth, we are seeking dedicated USCG Master Captains for the Summer 2026 in Nantucket, MA.

Our captains deliver best in class service to our members, while enjoying a team and work culture unique to the yachting industry. Our seasons run May-October in the Northeast, and November-April in our Southern harbors, with limited Winter availability.
What Success Looks Like in This RoleYou consistently deliver safe, polished, and memorable outingsYou dependably deliver best-in-class hospitality through a proven commitment to exceptional serviceYou represent the Club with professionalism on and off the dockYou enjoy interacting with members and tailoring experiencesYou collaborate well with multiple departments and communicate proactively to support team success

Key Responsibilities:Safely operate Club vessels, delivering exceptional hospitality and unforgettable experiences for membersCommunicate effectively with members, tailoring each trip to their preferences and ensuring a memorable outingCollaborate with on-site mechanical and harbor teams for seamless operationsMaintain high standards of safety, professionalism, and appearance at all timesAccurate and timely expense and post-trip reportingRequirements:Valid USCG Masters captain’s license, Near CoastalValid USCG Medical CertificateMarine Radio Operator PermitCPR and First Aid CertifiedStrong experience on vessels of similar sizeAn understanding of basic vessel maintenance & log keepingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills - our members expect the best, and we deliver it.
