Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily transportation and distribution operations to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of products to customers and retail partners. This role serves as a key liaison between warehouses, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to maintain smooth logistics execution.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in transportation coordination within a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments (LTL, FTL, parcel, and container freight)
• Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and distribution centers
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, damages, or routing issues
• Communicate shipment updates to internal departments including Customer Service, Sales, and Warehouse Operations
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation (BOLs, invoices, packing lists, customs paperwork)
• Audit freight invoices and assist with cost control initiatives
• Monitor carrier performance metrics and support service-level improvements
• Assist with inventory transfers between warehouses
• Ensure compliance with company policies, carrier contracts, and regulatory requirements
• Support peak season logistics planning and capacity coordination
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 2 to 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination
• Experience in eCommerce or high-volume distribution environments
• Working knowledge of LTL, FTL, parcel, and freight forwarding processes
• Strong proficiency in Excel and logistics/ERP systems
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
Preferred
• Experience working with 3PL providers
• Familiarity with WMS, TMS, or ERP platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Collaborative and team-oriented
• Proactive issue resolution
Work Environment
• Office and/or warehouse setting
• May require occasional overtime during peak shipping seasons
