Sr. In-House Counsel (Remote)
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel - REMOTE. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing contracts and providing legal guidance across various departments. Your expertise in contract drafting, negotiation, and corporate law will help the organization navigate its legal landscape effectively. This position allows you to collaborate closely with other professionals and enhances your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders and contribute to process improvements while ensuring compliance with legal standards.
Accountabilities- Draft, review, and negotiate various types of contracts, including SAAS agreements and vendor service contracts.
- Execute process improvements for contract flows from sales through operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Advise corporate functions on enforceability and risks related to contract disputes.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to provide legal support on contract matters.
- Conduct legal research to support negotiations and resolve issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing compliance programs.
- Manage outside counsel regarding litigation and legal matters.
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- 5-7 years of experience in contract drafting and negotiation, preferably in-house.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in risk management and litigation.
