This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solutions Engineer, Cloud Intelligence in the United States.
In this role, you will act as a trusted technical advisor at the intersection of cloud economics, engineering, and customer success. You will partner closely with Account Executives to help enterprises, Managed Service Providers, Private Equity firms, and Systems Integrators unlock actionable insights across complex multi-cloud environments. By combining deep technical expertise with a strong understanding of FinOps and cloud optimization, you will guide prospects through discovery, validation, and proof-of-value processes. You will design and deliver impactful demonstrations that showcase cost visibility, optimization opportunities, and operational intelligence. This is a highly customer-facing role where you will influence strategic cloud decisions and measurable business outcomes. - Partner with Account Executives to lead technical discovery sessions, understanding cloud environments, FinOps maturity, and optimization challenges across engineering, finance, and platform teams.
- Own and drive Proof of Value (POV) processes, ensuring successful technical validation and clear alignment between customer needs and platform capabilities.
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations showcasing multi-cloud visibility, cost optimization insights, and operational intelligence capabilities across environments such as Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
- Develop compelling business cases and ROI analyses based on cloud economics and FinOps principles to demonstrate financial and operational impact.
- Support MSP, Private Equity, and Systems Integrator engagements by enabling portfolio-level visibility and scalable optimization strategies using the Cloud Intelligence platform.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert, guiding prospects through evaluation cycles and ensuring strong technical wins.
- Represent the platform at industry events, webinars, and conferences, delivering high-impact presentations and live demonstrations.
- Capture customer feedback and translate it into structured insights for product and engineering teams to influence roadmap evolution.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of engagements, ensuring visibility into performance metrics and pipeline effectiveness.
- 5+ years of experience in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally in a pre-sales or Solutions Engineering capacity supporting enterprise and mid-market customers.
- Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems, including AWS or equivalent platforms, and familiarity with datacenter technologies and hypervisors such as VMware.
- Experience with cloud-centric architectures and ITSM ecosystems, including tools like Datadog, ServiceNow, New Relic, Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets, identify trends, and build insights using spreadsheets or analytical tools.
- Ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts in simple, business-relevant language.
- Experience presenting to executive stakeholders and supporting competitive, consultative sales cycles.
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) with a customer-first mindset.
