We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Banquet Key Manager to join our Food & Beverage leadership team. This is a hands-on management position ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced event environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest and member experiences.
The Banquet Key Manager will play a vital role in the planning, execution, and oversight of private events, club functions, and banquet operations. This position combines the leadership responsibilities of a restaurant service manager with the organization and coordination skills of an event planner.
Candidates with previous banquet management experience are required, and private club experience is strongly preferred.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise banquet and event operations from setup to breakdown
- Actively manage and support banquet staff during service while maintaining high hospitality standards
- Coordinate with culinary, clubhouse, and event teams to ensure smooth execution of all events
- Assist with event planning logistics, timelines, room setups, and service flow
- Train, coach, and develop banquet staff to uphold service standards and operational consistency
- Maintain professionalism and composure in high-volume and fast-paced environments
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and proper event presentation throughout the clubhouse and banquet spaces
- Assist with scheduling, staffing, and labor management
- Handle member and guest requests promptly and professionally
- Enforce food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service standards
- Support club leadership with operational goals, event execution, and team accountability
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of banquet or hospitality management experience required
- Previous private club, country club, or upscale hospitality experience strongly preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lead by example and work alongside the team during service
- Experience managing large-scale events, banquets, and member functions
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and positive attitude required
