Wilcox Fresh has been a trusted name in agriculture since 1948, proudly serving the potato industry from our home in Rexburg. We are currently looking for a hardworking, dependable individual to join our team as a Potato Scooper/Piler Maintenance Technician.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining equipment, and is not afraid of a hard day’s work. The right candidate will be punctual, reliable, and willing to take initiative while working both independently and alongside other team members.

As a Scooper/Piler Maintenance Technician, you will play an important role in keeping our operation running smoothly. Daily responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on scoopers and pilers, moving and operating equipment and trailers, maintaining clean and organized shop and storage areas, and communicating with truck drivers and other personnel. You will also assist with moving storage vent tubes, completing necessary paperwork accurately, attending meetings, and helping wherever needed throughout the operation.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid driver’s license, and be able to occasionally lift between 50 and 100 pounds. Candidates should have prior maintenance experience, including tasks such as lacing belts, greasing equipment, and changing bearings and rollers. Some welding experience and previous experience scooping potatoes are also required. Electrical knowledge is a plus.

This is a full-time hourly position with opportunities for wage increases based on experience and performance.
