Director of Operations in Montego Freeport at SEQUIUM ASSET SOLUTIONS LLC

We are looking for a strategic and driven Director of Operations to join our leadership team in Jamaica. As a leader in the Accounts Receivable Management (ARM) space, we are seeking a visionary professional to spearhead our local operations, focusing on department growth, competitive performance, and the mentorship of our Collection Managers.

This role reports directly to the COO and is designed for a high-performer with the ambition to transition into a VP of Operations role quickly.

You will be responsible for the heartbeat of our Jamaican operations. Key responsibilities include:

• Team Development: Coaching and developing Collection Managers to ensure they reach their full potential.
• Strategic Oversight: Managing department staffing levels to meet client demands and maintaining a competitive edge through rigorous performance analysis.
• Portfolio Management: Overseeing post-charge-off collections for credit cards, installment loans, DDA, and judgements for fintech partners, debt buyers, and card issuers.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Actively collaborating with suppliers to provide top-tier results for our clients.

The ideal candidate must be an expert in the regulatory landscape to ensure our operations remain fully compliant. This includes:

• Comprehensive knowledge of FDCPA, UDAAP, GLBA, and FCRA.
• Deep understanding of state regulations and local Jamaican governmental/regulatory requirements.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in collections operations.
• Leadership: At least 3 years in a senior leadership capacity, with a proven track record of managing multi-functional teams, daily operations, and capacity planning.
• Strategic Execution: Demonstrated success in budget management and meeting high-level strategic goals.
• Ambition: A strong desire to scale operations and advance into a VP of Operations role.
