Job Overview

  • Salary/Pay Rate: $80,000 to $95,000 per year (based on experience) plus Performance Bonus.

  • Location: Onsite.

  • Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.

  • Schedule: Monday Friday.

  • Project Scope: Residential, Commercial, and Government or Federal.

  • Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: OSHA 10 and OSHA 30.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a pivotal leader in our Project Management division, overseeing the critical "last mile" of fiber connectivity. This role empowers you to drive operational excellence across multiple drop bury crews while ensuring the highest standards of safety and workmanship. You will have the opportunity to grow professionally within a supportive team environment that recognizes and rewards initiative.

How You Will Make an Impact
  • Supervise multiple fiber drop bury crews to ensure daily production targets and quality standards are exceeded.

  • Coordinate complex field schedules and resource allocation to maintain seamless project flow across residential and commercial sites.

  • Execute rigorous quality control inspections to verify that all underground fiber installations meet industry and company specifications.

  • Interface directly with stakeholders and team members to resolve technical field obstacles and provide project updates.

  • Enforce strict adherence to safety procedures and utility locating practices to prevent damage and ensure a zero-incident environment.

  • Mentor field personnel on best practices for workmanship, reliability, and efficient installation techniques.

  • Document project progress and field reports to provide leadership with accurate data for strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supervising fiber drop bury crews or similar underground utility operations.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of underground construction standards, fiber optic technology, and utility locating practices.

  • Proven ability to manage day-to-day field operations, including crew coordination and logistics.

  • Possession of current OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a track record of meeting strict project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience managing high-volume residential fiber deployment projects.

  • Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting civil engineering plans and utility maps.

  • Demonstrated success in cost-control and resource optimization within a construction environment.
