ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a collaborative team where your analytical skills help support strategic financial decisions and strong client relationships. In this role, youll work closely with Partners, Client Account Managers (CAMs), and Finance teams to analyze client accounts and matter portfolios, contributing to pricing strategies that balance client needs with firm goals. Youll assist with reviewing discounts and alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), support budgeting and reporting for matters, and help ensure billing aligns with agreed terms. This is a great opportunity to build your experience in financial analysis, gain exposure to pricing strategy, and play a meaningful role in improving processes and overall performance.
- Develop pricing analyses for Partners through modeling of rates, discounts, realization, and leverage assumptions under the guidance of senior team members.
- Support the annual deal and rate review process through review of client agreements, coordination with Partners and CAMs, updates to pricing records and communication with billing and collections.
- Assist in developing alternative fee arrangements (AFAs) based on defined matter scope; recommend matter structures to improve tracking and financial transparency.
- Monitor assigned matters for budget-to-actual performance and identify and communicate potential risks or variances to Partners, CAMs, and Pricing leadership.
- Conduct post-matter financial analysis utilizing historical data to support future pricing decisions and improve financial outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of pricing templates, tools, and process improvements to increase team efficiency and consistency.
- Oversee the intake of pricing requests, assess scope and urgency, and coordinate assignment of requests to appropriate team members to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
ABOUT YOU
- Undergraduate Degree required; concentration in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business preferred.
- 25 years experience within Professional Services or a similarly analytical environment requiring financial modeling and data analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, particularly advanced Excel capabilities.
- Prior law firm experience is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting pricing, budgeting or financial planning processes preferred.
- Effective communicator with the ability to present financial information clearly to attorneys and business professionals.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new systems and applications.
- Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities and deliver accurate work under deadlines.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and sound judgment under pressure.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Demonstrated client-service mindset with focus on balancing responsiveness and financial discipline.
- Ability to take assignments from initiation to completion with moderate supervision.
- Ability to apply analytical thinking to identify issues and propose practical solutions within established guidelines.

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications. Per Colorado law, this posting includes an anticipated application deadline of September 18, 2026. The position may close earlier if a suitable candidate is identified.
New York salary range: $92k to $128k
Boston, Washington, D.C. salary range: $87k to $122k
Denver salary range: $82k to $114k
