This position involves working with a team of engineers and support staff to support drinking water projects from planning through design and construction. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer or recent graduate who is looking to build technical skills, gain hands-on experience, and work toward professional licensure while contributing to meaningful projects in the communities we serve.
Requirements:What You’ll Do
- Assist with the planning, design, and development of drinking water projects
- Support project teams in preparing plans, specifications, and reports
- Work on water distribution systems, rural water systems, and water treatment facilities
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other team members
- Participate in field work and data collection as needed
- Support project documentation and communication with internal teams
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification or the ability to obtain
- Interest in or exposure to drinking water systems, including distribution systems, rural water systems, and water treatment facilities
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and grow within the role
- Valid U.S. work authorization
- Valid driver’s license
