PRN MRI Technologist in Sugarland, Texas at PATHWAY IMAGING LLC

We are seeking a skilled and dependable PRN MRI Technologist to provide as-needed coverage while delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care.

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal image quality and comfort
• Screen patients for MRI safety risks, including implants and contraindications
• Demonstrate competency in peripheral IV insertion, maintenance, and contrast administration in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Administer contrast agents and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Operate MRI equipment safely and maintain imaging quality standards
• Verify patient identity and confirm orders prior to procedures
• Document imaging procedures accurately in EMR and PACS systems
• Ensure compliance with MRI safety, infection control, and regulatory standards
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, providers, and clinical staff
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any operational issues

ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) certification required
Texas Medical Board MRT License required
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of MRI experience preferred
Strong knowledge of MRI safety and imaging protocols
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Friday and Saturday required, with additional days as needed based on operational demands
