Piano Tuner and Technician at AMRO Music Stores Inc – Memphis, Tennessee

Amro Music is looking to hire a qualified piano tuner/technician ready to enter a thriving market.

The piano technician would tune and maintain pianos throughout Memphis, the Mid-South, and within Amro Music. Additional duties of regulation, voicing, repairs, action refurbishing, and preventative maintenance may be assigned with experience.

Benefits such as health insurance, 401k match, and paid time-off are included for full-time employees. Pay will be based on and in line with experience.

Below are the personal requirements for the piano technician position:

• Prior experience with piano tuning and repair work is required for this position.
• Diagnosing, repairing, and play-testing acoustic pianos
• Ensuring that the required work is done entirely and promptly.
• Musical instrument knowledge is required.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
• Maintain a collaborative spirit for tackling repairs and piano projects.
• Provide strong customer service skills with a professional attitude and demeanor.
• Demonstrated skill in repairing keyboard problems including voicing, regulation, and action rebuilding is an asset.
