Triage/Infusion LPN

Join Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers as a Float Triage/Infusion IV Certified LPN and bring your expertise to a team that’s redefining cancer care.

We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate, and professional LPN to join our team as a Float Triage/Infusion Nurse. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting patient care coordination and between our Glendale, Suprise, and Goodyear locations.

Responsibilities

Manage incoming patient calls and voicemails, providing timely and accurate triage supportDocument patient interactions thoroughly and accurately in medical recordsAssist physicians and nurses with care coordination and necessary documentationObtain prior authorizations for oral chemotherapy medicationsProcess prescription refills in collaboration with the Triage RNSchedule initial chemotherapy appointments following patient educationAdminister IV therapies (non-chemotherapy) as neededCommunicate lab results (e.g., PT/INR) and provider instructions to patients

Ideal Candidate

Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentialityExcellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environmentFamiliarity with: Chemotherapy drugs and oncology care (preferred)Diagnostic and radiation procedures (preferred)Medical coding (CPT, ICD, HCPCS)

Qualifications

2–3 years of LPN experience (oncology preferred, but not required)Graduate of an accredited LPN programActive Arizona LPN license (required)CPR certification (required)IV certification (preferred but not required)
