About This Position
Currently, Aurora is seeking to hire a full-time Machine Operator for our 4-day Monday - Thursday 10-hour 1st shift (5:30 am - 3:30 pm).
Reports To: Plant Manager
Position Summary: Our Machine Operators will have on-the-job training to be able to follow the process paperwork, line-up material, and set-up the speed and tension controls for the production line. They operate in a production setting communicating with other team members and monitoring on-line quality testing. The operator will be required to complete all daily production paperwork, make labels for finished product, and any other duties assigned to them by supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Flag defects and inspect material while production is running.
- Clean rollers before start-up and when needed.
- Line up material through production line.
- Take on-line quality testing.
- Label product
- Use industrial sew machine
- Complete process paperwork accurately.
Equipment operated:
- Forklift
- Pallet Jack
- Small Tug Truck
- Hand tools
- Band Saw
Education Requirements:
- High School Diploma, or GED
- Ability to read the process paperwork
- Ability to read a tape measure
Physical Requirements:
1. Alternate standing/sitting/walking throughout entire 10 hour shift.
2. Lifting/carrying intermittently up to 50 lbs.
3. Ability to wear all required safety equipment.

Pay Range for our Operators is $24.61 - $25.01 with automatic $1.00 increase in Feb 2026.
We offer a Monday - Thursday 1st shift schedule. Hours are 5:30 am-3:30 pm M-Th.
