Job Description

Seeking experienced BHT-ABA's & RBTs

$18-$24 per hour depending on RBT Credential, Experience, & Demonstrated Competency in ABA via the RBT Competency Assessment

We are looking to add five (5) Experienced BHT-ABAs or Registered Behavior Technicians to our Clinical Team

Part-Time Positions starting at 25+ hrs/wk of Direct Client Service Hours
Opportunities to Grow Into Full Time and move up our RBT/BHT-ABA Career Ladder

As an Experienced BHT-ABA- must have completed the 40 hour RBT training but do not need to hold the RBT credential with the BACB
As a Registered Behavior Technician- must hold an active and in good standing credential with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

SESD is able to provide ABA Fieldwork Supervision for Students Pursuing their Graduate
or Undergraduate Degree & Certification in Behavior Analysis

Additional Info & Benefits
  • We provide a focus on Early Intervention through transition into Elementary School Programs; work with children primarily between the ages of 18 months to 8 years old.
  • Implement ABA therapy/intervention that centers around skills development.
  • No evening or weekend hours. Client services are restricted to Monday – Friday between the hours of 8am and 5pm.
  • Geographically coordinated client assignments- Supervisors review client caseloads to attempt to limit travel time and increase capacity to serve clients.
  • Targeted client billable hours assigned based on employee’s consistent availability: from 25 - 30 hours per week with opportunities to pursue Full Time positions when they become available.
  • Opportunities to grow and advance into other clinical or administrative positions.
  • Partnership with York College – Swank ESD employees can receive up to a 15% tuition discount when pursuing Graduate and Professional programs and certification in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and other professional areas.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Hold & Maintain certification as a Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Or experienced BHT-ABAs who have completed the 40 hr required RBT Training but do not hold an RBT credential
  • High school diploma or equivalence
  • At least 18 years old
  • Reliably travel to assigned clients across urban, suburban, & rural settings
  • One (1) year experience working with children
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs and be able to move freely from floor to standing and back again
  • Provide three (3) positive professional references from current or previous employers, including at least one from a direct supervisor
  • Provide clear background clearances as required by the PA Dept. of Human Services
  • Clear TB Test - valid within 3 years
