About the role
This is a Full-time position normally starting between 6pm to 7pm. you would be responsible for assisting to lead the night shift team to work in a safe and efficient manner to pack Duck and Duck products in line with Good Manufacturing Practices
Key Responsibilities:
Usual duties:
• Work as part of the night packing team
• Handle packaged duck product
• Pack and prepare products for distribution
• Operate forklifts and pallet trucks
• Conduct routine cleaning tasks
• Any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Team Leader
When Required:
• Lead night shift team in a fair and reasonable manner to achieve the best results each night
• Allocate tasks fairly to team members and support them to achieve their tasks
• Ensure accuracy across operations including packing, product labelling, time and attendance reporting
• Communicate with, production, sales, and management teams
• Maintain personal hygiene standards and ensure a clean and tidy workplace
• Ensure team is compliant with Pepe's Ducks policy and procedure
• Ensure team is compliant with Pepe's Ducks workplace health and safety standards
• Be accountable for the team on a daily basis, responding to needs of staff and Pepe's management
• Any other reasonable tasks as directed by the Team Leader
