The University of Pittsburgh Department of Anesthesiology serves one of the nation’s largest integrated delivery systems and is actively recruiting a Visiting Scholar to participate in clinical activities. The purpose and responsibilities will focus on clinical research activities within the Department of Anesthesiology CHP Research Program.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Collaboration with faculty investigators in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine

• Data collection

• Report generation

• Paper writing; attend meetings

• Conduction of Data analysis and manuscript development for research project

• The ability to work with a highly productive team is critical to the success of this position

Requirements: Candidates should possess an M.D. or Ph.D. degree. He/she should have the ability to work collaboratively and be interested in working with individuals from many different backgrounds including clinicians and basic scientists.

Candidates should also have a good command of the English Language and evidence of good writing and interpersonal skills.
