What You’ll Do
- Schedule and dispatch service calls to technicians for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain real-time communication with technicians via phone, email, and text throughout the day.
- Manage the dispatch board to optimize schedules, compress routes, and maximize team productivity.
- Coordinate return trips for parts-related jobs and ensure timely completion of outstanding work.
- Notify customers proactively if schedules change, rescheduling as needed to meet their convenience.
- Partner with Purchasing and Warehouse teams to coordinate timely part deliveries to technicians.
- Follow Dispatching for Profits and priority scheduling guidelines to ensure the right technician is assigned to each job.
- Debrief technicians after each call and ensure timely job completion and payment collection.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to ensure accurate call booking and seamless communication.
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction with each interaction.
- Support field operations by promoting safety best practices and adherence to company standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We’re Looking For
- Required: High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with ServiceTitan or other dispatching software is a plus.
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical trades preferred.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
- A self-starter who is reliable, flexible, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills — both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Professional and composed under pressure with strong follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and think critically when challenges arise.
- Team players who collaborate effectively across departments.
Schedule:
7:00 AM-530 or 10:00 AM -830 PM with rotating 4 week, weekend schedule
Hourly Pay:
$25-$30 DOE
