Responsibilities
The Enterprise Technology Claims Cloud Operations team is seeking an experienced Technical Administrator to support the administration, monitoring, maintenance, and operational support of our Claims Cloud Platform and related technologies. This is an AWESOME opportunity to work on a team that enables secure, scalable, and well-governed cloud platform services that simplify how we do business, drive efficiency, reduce expenses, and improve employee experience.
This is an operations-focused role suited for someone who enjoys cloud platform administration, troubleshooting, supportability, governance, and continuous improvement in a large enterprise environment.
A Cloud Technical Administrator focuses on deploying, managing, and operating workloads on AWS and Red Hat Open Shift. Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and Logging: Using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Dynatrace and other AWS services to track system performance, security, and operational health
- High-Availability and Disaster Recovery: Designing multi-zone deployments, Auto Scaling, and backup strategies to ensure business continuity
- Networking and Security: Configuring VPCs, security groups, NACLs, Firewalls, and implementing IAM policies and encryption to meet compliance requirements
- Cost and Performance Optimization: Implementing resource tagging, cost management tools, and selecting appropriate pricing models to optimize Cloud infrastructure
- Automation: Using AWS CloudFormation, Systems Manager, and CLI tools to automate deployment and operational tasks
Focus Areas:
- Deploying, managing, and operating Cloud workloads
- Monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting
- Implementing security controls and compliance
- Networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls)
- High availability, performance, and capacity planning
- Business continuity and disaster recovery procedures
- Incident identification and remediation
- Collects and analyzes information to identify opportunities for infrastructure system improvement, suggests solutions and develops implementation and integration plans for infrastructure system upgrades
- Leverages coding, scripting or AI to identify and automate repetitive or manual tasks
Qualifications
We Are Seeking Candidates With:
- 3+ years of experience in cloud technical administration and platform support, including infrastructure support, automation support, or a related technology operations role.
- 3+ years of experience in Amazon Web Services administration.
- Experience supporting production platforms or applications, including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident triage, maintenance, and operational documentation.

- Potential starting salary range: $80,600 - $120,000
- Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
- High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
- Potential yearly incentive pay up to 15% of base salary
