Material Working Operator in Irving, Texas at VANDERLANDE LOGISTICS LLC

Addressing and evaluating unusual or uncommon situations appropriately and resolving incidents or issues in the most suitable and effective way. Operates the full range of machines and equipment in moderately complex production lines, usually in automated control room operation environment. Operates in installing and the set-up of machines, including non-routine CNC programming. May support Industrial Engineers in the installation and setup of machines effectively. Contributes to complex assembly processes, where a team of differently qualified specialists is involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Unpacks incoming goods according to respective instructions.

• Completes packaging activities of deliveries following shipping instructions, types of packaging and other instructions (e.g. Dangerous Goods) in the given framework.

• Completes transportations of goods inside and if applicable outside the premises with professional usage of appropriate means of transportation.

• Stores good following the store instructions.

• Contributes to the regular stock maintenance and inventory in the storage area.

• Assembles deliveries out of given storage compartments and review for completeness and accuracy (e.g. quantity and article number in reference to the respective delivery notes).

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience:

• 3 -5 years of experience in related industries.

• HS Diploma or GED required.

• SAP PAP experience

• Operating Raymond Swing Reach & Picking Trucks

• The starting Hourly pay rate for this position is $21.00 -$ 25.00. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
