Job Description
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the facility, ensuring safe, high-quality, and profitable operations. This position provides leadership across all departments while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, employee development, and continuous improvement through the Petro OS operating system.
LOCATION: The General Manager position is located at Petro Rubber Products in Joshua, TX. 1401 S Broadway St - Google Maps
SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES:
- Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Promote and maintain a world-class safety culture.
- Ensure consistent product quality and on-time delivery.
- Develop, coach, and hold team accountable.
- Drive continuous improvement in productivity, efficiency, and cost performance.
- Manage labor, budgets, and operating expenses.
- Monitor and improve KPIs including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and OEE.
- Coordinate Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Shipping.
- Support customer relationships and operational growth.
- Own the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of Petro OS.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Management, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and progressive manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.
- Seven (7) or more years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
- Demonstrated success implementing Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or similar operational excellence initiatives.
- Experience managing budgets, operational KPIs, and cross-functional teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience leading manufacturing operations within an industrial or oilfield manufacturing environment is preferred.
