Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and company-paid coursework through Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC), you'll build a foundation in automation, robotics, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance.

What You'll Learn
- Throughout the apprenticeship, you'll receive training in:
- Industrial automation systems
- PLC programming and troubleshooting
- Electrical controls and industrial electricity
- Robotics and manufacturing technology
- Mechanical systems and power transmission
- Pneumatics and fluid power systems
- Equipment maintenance and repair
- Technical troubleshooting and problem solving
What You'll Do
- Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting automated equipment
- Support machinery installations and process improvements
- Participate in preventive maintenance activities
- Learn to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Work alongside experienced technicians and engineers
- Complete apprenticeship coursework and training requirements
- Apply new skills in a real manufacturing environment
What We're Looking For
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in technology
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
- Commitment to completing apprenticeship coursework
- Manufacturing experience
- Automotive, mechanical, electrical, or technical hobbies
- Vocational or technical education experience
- Experience working with tools or equipment
