Front Desk Agent in Lakewood Ranch, Florida at Zieg Hospitality Corporation

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will provide exceptional hospitality while ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out experience. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and experience working in a hotel environment. Experience with StayPMS and Marriott brand standards is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests with a warm, professional demeanor.
Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately using StayPMS.
Handle reservations, room assignments, and payment transactions.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns while providing outstanding customer service.
Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
Answer incoming phone calls and assist with reservation inquiries.
Maintain accurate guest records and ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards.
Balance cash drawer and complete end-of-shift reports.
Promote hotel amenities, loyalty programs, and local attractions.
Resolve guest issues professionally and escalate concerns when appropriate.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
Experience using StayPMS is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Marriott brand standards is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
