- Chronograph paintball markers regularly to confirm velocities stay within approved safety limits
- Test-fire and calibrate markers to ensure safe, consistent performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions quickly during live operations
- Inspect and maintain protective equipment, including face masks and body armor, for wear or damage
- Track inventory of paintballs, air/CO2 tanks, spare parts, and safety gear
- Coordinate with Zombie Actors, Zombie Narrators, and Tractor Drivers before each shift to confirm all equipment is ready
- Maintain accurate equipment and maintenance logs, reporting significant issues to a supervisor
- Attend mandatory pre-season orientation, safety training, and equipment training
- Follow all safety protocols for handling paintball markers and compressed air/CO2 systems
Education, Skills & Knowledge
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Prior experience with paintball equipment, mechanical repair, or similar technical work strongly preferred
- Comfortable and safe working with compressed air or CO2 systems
- Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to commit to the full September–October season, including all Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, plus pre-season setup and training days
- Reliable, punctual, and professional — attendance is critical to our team's success
- Physically able to lift, carry, kneel, and crouch while inspecting or repairing equipment
Working Conditions
- Outdoor work in varying fall weather conditions
- Work performed near active paintball fire and attraction activity
- Exposure to compressed air/CO2 equipment and related noise
- Physically able to lift and carry equipment and perform repairs for multiple hours per shift
