As a Senior IBM BPM Developer, you will design, develop, and implement automated workflows that streamline complex business processes.
The role combines technical expertise in IBM BPM/IBM BAW with a strong understanding of business requirements and process automation.
You will translate complex operational needs into scalable, reliable workflow solutions that improve efficiency and user experiences.
The position involves development, testing, integrations, documentation, maintenance, and continuous optimization of implemented solutions.
You will collaborate closely with technology and business teams to ensure solutions align with functional needs and technical standards.

• Develop, test, and implement automated workflows using IBM BPM and IBM Business Automation Workflow (IBM BAW).
• Apply development best practices and established frameworks, including ReFramework, to build reliable and maintainable automation solutions.
• Analyze complex business processes and identify opportunities for workflow automation and process improvement.
• Translate business requirements and process needs into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations with APIs and support appropriate data manipulation within automated workflows.
• Create, maintain, and update comprehensive technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and end users to ensure solutions meet functional and technical requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to users and other stakeholders when required.
• Perform ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, optimization, and enhancement of implemented solutions.
• Contribute to solution design decisions and continuous improvement of automation practices.
• Promote knowledge sharing and effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.

• Proven professional experience developing solutions with IBM BPM and/or IBM Business Automation Workflow (IBM BAW).
• Strong ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into automated technical solutions.
• Experience developing workflow automation solutions using established development practices and frameworks.
• Experience with API integrations and data manipulation.
• Ability to create and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Proactive, organized, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with a broader team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on designing practical solutions for complex business challenges.
• IBM BPM certifications are a plus.
• Experience with additional automation or workflow platforms is desirable.
• Knowledge of IBM solution architecture is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is desirable.
• Knowledge of application security and data protection practices is an advantage.
