Presbyterian Village North is currently hiring a Full-Time Rehab Administrative Assistant to join our fantastic Rehabilitation Team!

Full time - Monday - Friday!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Model a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients, visitors, and co-workers
• Administrative tasks, projects and coordination of therapy departments at multiple campuses, as assigned by supervisor
• Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards
• Maintain good attendance record
• Computer data entry as assigned by supervisor, basic knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel and Adobe.
• Daily therapist/patient scheduling, communicating with patient’s families and communication with nursing team
• Manage facility Durable Medical Equipment (DME), including maintaining equipment logs and organizing and track department supplies and their utilization
• Place and receive orders for department supplies
• Assist in cleaning and maintenance of treatment areas(s) and equipment
• Attend weekly Rehab meetings and other meetings as assigned by supervisor
• Other duties as assigned by Community Rehab/Wellness Directors or Medicare Rehab Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1-2 years Admin./Clerical experience required
• Able to successfully complete on the job training with the Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy staff
• Demonstrates computer proficiency with therapy billing and clinical software
• Administrative experience, strong in MS Office and MS Excel required
Ability to assist with insurance verification for Outpatient Therapy services.
• Proficient ability to communicate orally and in writing in the English language and to organize work effectively
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team, to share information freely, to use and seek supervision and consultation verbally and in writing, and to be able to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Ability to adjust to changing conditions, frequent demands and stressful situations
• Genuine caring for and interest in the care of mature adults, persons with handicap and hospice patients
• Ability to perform work tasks within the Physical Demand Requirements
• Ability to comply with the Resident Bill of Rights and the Employee Responsibilities
• Ability to comply with organizational and departmental safety policies and procedures
