Job Description
Do you take pride in providing a clean and sanitary experience for hotel guests? You might be a great fit to join our team! We're hiring a reliable and enthusiastic laundry attendant, Wednesday-Sunday, 8 am-4 pm, who is comfortable talking with guests and will make them feel at ease. Our laundry attendants perform a variety of duties, including washing, drying, sorting, folding linens, and reclaiming. Our ideal candidate has experience with commercial laundry products and the ability to lift 20 pounds or more regularly. Job seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working on a team. Compensation:$15 - $16 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Load all laundry into the washer and add specified cleaning agents according to directions
- Verify that all laundry equipment is in good working order and alert the facilities manager of any repair needs
- Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer's recommendations
- Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are in stock and indicate any shortages to the general manager
Qualifications:
- We require the ability to consistently lift 20 or more pounds
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Possesses a strong work ethic with exemplary organizational, time management, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and products
