Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE
This position is responsible for overall leadership, direction, and operational oversight for the clinical laboratory. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely diagnostic services across all laboratory disciplines while maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The position works closely with the Laboraty Medical Director. Sets department goals and ensures staffing is appropriate.
MINIMUM MANDATORY qualifications
Experience:

  • At least 10 years of progressive laboratory leadership experience, including supervisory or director-level responsibilities
  • Broad experience across multiple laboratory disciplines
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or related field (required), master’s degree (preferred)
  • American Sociaty Of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) Certification
Preferred qualifications
  • Masters Degree Prefered
