Intake Representative in Flemington, New Jersey at Hunterdon Health Care System

Position Summary

Answers calls for all new appointments to the HBH practice. Verifies insurance.

Primary Position Responsibilities

1.Answer and respond to all client calls.

2.Phone triages current problem as presented by client.

3.Schedules initial appointment with appropriate treatment provider.

4.Verifies insurance information.

5.Verifies demographic information.

6.Facilitates follow up appointments to appropriate treatment provider.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field. In lieu of a degree, we may consider candidate with 3 or more years of experience with insurance authorizations in healthcare/behavioral health.
