Support Arizona Quarry Operations

Rock Pros USA is seeking a dependable, safety-minded Yard Hostler / Operations Support Technician to support daily operations from our Mesa, Arizona Yard.

This full-time position plays a critical role in supporting quarry operations by transporting company equipment, repair parts, tools, trailers, and operational supplies to quarry locations throughout Arizona. You'll help keep our field operations running by ensuring equipment and materials are delivered where they're needed while maintaining company vehicles, trailers, and the Mesa Yard.

This is a hands-on operations position with little to no customer interaction and is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, towing trailers, operating equipment, and supporting a hardworking operations team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Transport company equipment, repair parts, tools, and operational supplies to quarry locations throughout Arizona.
• Safely tow trailers transporting company equipment and assets.
• Pick up and deliver equipment, parts, and supplies that support field operations.
• Operate loaders, skid steers, forklifts (if certified), and other equipment as needed.
• Perform daily inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Wash, fuel, and perform basic preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Mesa Yard.
• Assist with inventory organization, equipment staging, and operational logistics.
• Support changing operational priorities and special projects.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Three (3) or more years of experience operating heavy equipment, construction equipment, or similar machinery preferred.
• Experience safely towing trailers and transporting equipment, tools, parts, or company assets.
• Experience driving pickup trucks while towing equipment trailers preferred.
• General mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform daily inspections and basic preventive maintenance on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance, dependable work ethic, and commitment to workplace safety.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
• Ability to safely enter and exit trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying Arizona weather conditions.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday
• Overtime available based on operational needs.
• Day travel to Rock Pros quarry locations throughout Arizona as business needs require.
• Home every night. No overnight travel required.
