Description

The shift supervisor is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the Store Manager in a variety of store duties. This position serves as a role model for barista responsibilities and is the team leader when the Store Manager is not working.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure an amazing customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and strongly leading the team
• Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush
• Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members
• Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce and improve performance
• Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales
• Execute cash handling, POS system, and operational procedures in an accurate and consistent manner
• Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Consistently follow all opening and closing procedures
• Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability
• Assist Store Manager with administrative duties as requested
