Job Description
Employment: Part Time, $16/hour
Work hours: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (24 hours/week)
Position reports to: Maintenance Team Leader
Purpose/Goal: Provide guests an enjoyable stay primarily by keeping the property grounds, hotel building, and guest rooms in excellently maintained condition; and provide. Primary duties are to maintain landscaping: Weed control, fertilization, seasonal planting and pruning, removing of debris, dripline irrigation checks, repairs and adjusting, potted plants. Sweep parking lot, gathering property garbage, monitor boiler room, assist maintenance team as requested with basic plumbing, electrical and HVAC's. Willing to train. Occasional driving of guests to/from St. George airport in hotel shuttle.

LOCATION: 1250 W Sun River Parkway
We are located off I-15, Exit 2. You will need transportation; Suntran does not service the Sunriver area.

Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D
Certifications:
Current driver license, 24 years or older refereed, but must be 21 or older.
Pass a criminal background check.
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) – Helpful but not required.
CPR Certification – helpful but not required.
Skills needed:
- Experience maintaining rock bed landscaping and drip lines
- Organize time and resources for optimum efficiency.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security and emergency measures
- Basic skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, landscaping, and general construction helpful
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Great service and public relation skills
- Work well with guests and team members
- Basic skill maintaining swimming pool and spa
- Work well under pressure
- Flexibility in scheduling hours (if Full Time)
- Basic math
- Ability to be on your feet all day
General Duties:
These are the Maintenance Team Leader duties but can be delegated and expected of the entire maintenance team. ·
Daily:
Safety First
Pool/Spa cleaned by 8:30am with chemicals at appropriate levels
Entrance exteriors remain washed and clean of debris and stains
Parking lots remain free of all garbage, debris and oil stains
Exterior lights replaced when out, entrances clear of debris, garbage, etc.
Inform management in daily huddle of scheduled work and goals.
· Keep records of work accomplished each day.
· Attend and participate in Team Leader and Property Meetings.
· On rare occasions; available ‘after hours’ to assist with emergencies or urgent guest related issues.
· Maintain all landscaping, plants and irrigation systems
· Keep maintenance office organized and clean, tools organized and inventoried
· Inventory property supplies for Maintenance, Back of House and other departments as needed.
· As needed, shuttle guests to/from St. George airport or other location as needed.
· Communicate with applicable departments regarding availability of rooms and amenities as it relates to the operations of the hotel
· Responsible that all systems in guest rooms, the building, and landscaping are functioning. Apprise management or sub-contractors as needed of items needing attention.
· Be proactive in preventative maintenance; keep property operational and in excellent condition
· Coordinating all projects including remodeling and renovations. Including coordination of sub-contractors as necessary.
· Provide assistance, as needed, to other departments or properties owned by the company
· Tasks or assignments given by the Owners, GM, or AGM.
