Join our growing Team as a full-time Maintenance Supervisor with Richman Property Services, Inc. in Austin, TX!


This position is eligible for our brand new "Texas Stay Program", which is designed to financially reward commitment, celebrate milestones, and support RPS new-hires along the way! You will be eligible to receive up to $3,000.00 during your initial first year with RPS as follows: paid after 90-days $500.00, after 6 months, $1,000.00, after one year of service, $1,500.00. All bonuses are paid in conjunction with our regularly scheduled payroll timeframes and dates, and are taxable. Employee must be active at the time of the scheduled payout dates.

Position: Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Ivy Heights, our 300-unit brand new residential community located in Austin, TX 78744 (South Austin)!

What we Offer:

  • Competitive base hourly pay, automatic quarterly pay increases following initial 90-days of service, $40 per month personal cell-phone allowance, and eligible for year-end discretionary bonus!

What we are looking for:

  • 4 or more year's experience managing maintenance operations within a multi-family residential community
  • EPA 1 and 2 (or EPA Universal) is required for this position as well as a valid/active Driver's License
  • Ability to work-well in a team environment, excellent resident service skills and penchant for curb appeal
  • Hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00-5:00pm, with a standard lunch, weekend rotation required
  • Bilingual English/Spanish speaking preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily repair and upkeep of the property
  • Manage the preparation of vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines
  • Manage service requests and response times, ensuring completion within established deadlines
  • Assist in maintaining curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds
  • Interview, screen, and recommend candidates for maintenance technician or grounds personnel positions
  • Execute subsequent training of maintenance or grounds personnel
  • Manage scheduling and direct supervision of all in-house and/or vendor work
  • Maintain supply and tool inventory; oversee ordering and delivery of necessary supplies and equipment
  • Assist in disciplinary or promotional recommendations for maintenance and grounds personnel
  • Ensure OSHA standards are met at all times and maintain a safe work environment
  • Maintain logs and records; report unusual circumstances regarding the property
  • Uphold and demonstrate exceptional customer service; seek educational opportunities for personal growth

Qualifications:

  • Education:
    1. High school diploma or equivalent; trade/technical school or industry-related courses preferred
  • Experience:
    1. Minimum four (4+) years maintenance experience as a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Superintendent, or Maintenance Technician II
    2. Experience managing maintenance operations in multi-family apartment communities, preferably luxury or Class A
    3. Experience with Yardi software products a plus
  • Skills & Certifications:
    1. EPA Section 608 Type I and II or EPA Universal Technician license required for position
    2. Valid Driver's License required
    3. CAMT and CPO certifications may be required within the first six (6) months of employment (RPS would pay for this if applicable)
    4. Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
