About the Role:
The Screening Outpatient Floor Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the outpatient screening floor within a professional, scientific, and technical services environment. This position ensures that all screening procedures are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with established protocols and regulatory standards. The lead is responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team, facilitating communication between staff and management, and addressing any operational challenges that arise during the screening process. By maintaining a high standard of patient care and operational excellence, the Screening Outpatient Floor Lead contributes directly to the overall success and reputation of the outpatient services. This role requires a proactive leader who can balance administrative duties with hands-on support to optimize workflow and patient experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient clinical operations or healthcare management.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of outpatient screening procedures and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, or a related discipline.
- Certification in healthcare management or leadership (e.g., Certified Medical Manager, Certified Healthcare Leader).
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data management.
- Background in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs.
- Familiarity with federal and state healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
Responsibilities:
