ABOUT THE POSITION

The Las Colinas Association is seeking a creative, detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to bring our brand, community initiatives, and events to life across digital and print channels. This is a hands-on role for a marketer who loves producing great content as much as planning it–from social media posts and e-newsletters to event materials and website management.

Reporting to the Marketing and Community Relations Director, the Digital Marketing Specialist will execute day-to-day digital communications, social media, website content, e-newsletters, creative campaigns, and event marketing initiatives that support the Association's mission of preserving and enhancing the community experience throughout Las Colinas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Marketing & Content Strategy

  • Execute digital marketing strategies across social media, email, and web platforms.
  • Create engaging content including graphics, videos, photography, and written communications.
  • Manage social media channels, content calendars, and community engagement.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize campaigns to maximize reach and engagement.

Content & Communications

  • Write, edit, and publish website content, blogs, newsletters, and member communications.
  • Develop creative campaigns and editorial content that support organizational initiatives.
  • Ensure all communications reflect the Las Colinas Association's brand and voice.

Website & Digital Platforms

  • Maintain website content, landing pages, and digital resources.
  • Manage digital marketing platforms and assist with website enhancements and user experience improvements.
  • Support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of online tools and member-facing platforms.

Creative Services

  • Design marketing collateral, digital assets, and promotional materials for print and online use.
  • Produce creative content that supports organizational branding, events, and community initiatives.

Community Engagement & Event Marketing

  • Support the promotion and execution of community events and special initiatives.
  • Develop event marketing materials, webpages, and attendee communications.
  • Represent the Las Colinas Association at community events and, when needed, capture photography and video content.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience in digital marketing, communications, content creation, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing digital marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry-standard graphic design tools, particularly the Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Solid project management and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience creating content across various digital channels, including websites, email marketing, and social media.
  • Experience with website management systems and email marketing platforms.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Preferred

  • Experience with photography, videography, and video editing.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising and analytics reporting.
  • Familiarity with community-based marketing, event promotion, or nonprofit organizations.
  • Experience managing multiple digital platforms and marketing technologies.
