Accountabilities:

The Programmatic Sales Director will be responsible for driving demand generation, managing strategic accounts, and achieving revenue objectives across a defined regional territory. This role requires a strong understanding of digital advertising, programmatic buying, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with key industry stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue across agencies, brands, trading desks, and DSP accounts within the assigned region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with multiple decision-makers across the programmatic buying ecosystem, including marketers, agencies, and technology partners.
  • Develop a deep understanding of advertising solutions and communicate their value based on client business needs.
  • Identify new opportunities, qualify prospects, and manage strategic sales conversations from discovery through revenue growth.
  • Own and expand relationships within a high-value territory while consistently achieving individual and team revenue targets.
  • Partner closely with account management teams to ensure successful client support, retention, and revenue optimization.
  • Act as a market representative by sharing customer insights and industry trends with internal teams to support product improvements.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of programmatic advertising trends, competitive landscapes, and evolving buyer expectations.
  • Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and deliver persuasive presentations tailored to client objectives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced digital advertising sales professional with a strong track record in programmatic revenue growth and strategic account development. You bring deep industry knowledge, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to operate successfully in a fast-changing technology environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in digital media, advertising, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in online programmatic advertising sales, including at least 5 years in a direct sales role.
  • Proven success growing revenue across strategic enterprise accounts and managing large sales territories.
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including DSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, and optimization platforms.
  • Established network of trusted relationships across agencies, advertisers, trading desks, and buy-side organizations.
  • Experience selling digital advertising campaigns based on CPA, CPC, and CPM models.
  • Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
