Full-Time

East Arkansas Family Health Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented X-RayTechnician to join our healthcare team. This position plays an essential role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services that assist providers in diagnosing and treating patients. The Radiology Technician works collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to deliver exceptional patient-centered care while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic examinations utilizing proper positioning techniques and technical factors.
  • Operate, inspect, maintain, and perform daily quality assurance checks on radiology equipment and workstations.
  • Accurately acquire radiographic images using digital imaging systems and exam workstations.
  • Ensure all imaging studies are transmitted for radiologist over-read and monitor timely receipt of results.
  • Perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) as needed.
  • Protect patient privacy and maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by treating patients, families, and visitors with compassion, courtesy, and professionalism.
  • Participate in daily clinical team huddles and communicate patient care concerns with providers and clinical staff.
  • Attend monthly clinical staff meetings and participate in Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols.
  • Report unusual incidents, patient concerns, or safety issues according to organizational policy.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and organizational regulations.
  • Complete required continuing education and organizational training.
  • Support East Arkansas Family Health Center's Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree (or higher) in Radiologic Technology or completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current Arkansas Radiologic Technologist License required.
  • ARRT Certification preferred or required based on organizational standards.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and imaging techniques.
  • Ability to operate radiology equipment and electronic medical record systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
