Role Overview
The Style Advisor (SA) is a brand ambassador responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, building meaningful client relationships, and supporting the store’s commercial and operational objectives.
Style Advisors are responsible for delivering the Varley service ceremony in all interactions while maintaining smooth shop floor operations and meeting commercial targets. This role requires passion for fashion, strong customer service skills, and adaptability in a fast-paced, omnichannel retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Customer & Brand Experience
· Act as a brand ambassador for Varley, delivering personalised service and building trust and community with customers.
· Build strong relationships with new and existing customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
· Deliver the Varley service ceremony consistently, providing styling advice, creating outfits, and exceeding customer expectations.
· Support retail events, VIP appointments, and community initiatives that enhance the customer experience.
· Share insights from customer interactions to improve service delivery and customer engagement.
· Support high service standards reflected in customer feedback tools such as Survicate.
Service & Selling
· Drive sales and KPIs through effective selling and personalised customer interactions.
· Contribute to a culture of clienteling to support repeat business and customer engagement.
· Provide feedback to store leadership on opportunities to improve sales and operational performance.
· Maintain strong product knowledge, including seasonal collections and awareness of market trends.
Operations & Store Standards
· Follow all operational policies and procedures, escalating any non-compliance or risk to management.
· Maintain high standards of store presentation, organisation, and back-of-house areas in line with Varley brand guidelines.
· Support smooth and efficient daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.
· Work collaboratively with fellow Style Advisors, Senior Style Advisors, Store Operations and management to support operational excellence.
· Contribute to a positive and professional team environment through respectful, proactive, and supportive behaviours on the shop floor.
· Regularly check and review communications sent through Zipline to stay up to date on all updates and task completion.
Scope of Role & Decision Ownership
· Deliver exceptional, personalized customer experiences on the shop floor.
· Support commercial targets through effective selling, styling, and customer engagement.
· Provide insights from customer interactions to support continuous improvement initiatives.
· Maintain alignment with Senior Style Advisors and store leadership on operational and sales priorities.

· Flexible to work shifts including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
· Comfortable using POS systems, CRM, and digital tools for clienteling.
