You would be joining a team of Breast Surgeons and Physician assistance who cover the Portland Metro area. We offer the latest in care with Intra operative radiation, neoadjuvant therapy approaches including neo adjuvant endocrine therapy and have capability for cryoablation. Our program is CoC and NAPBC accredited and offers the opportunity for clinical and even investigator initiated trials.

Responsibilities
- Provides a full range of cancer care to patients of Legacy Health. Such care is provided in an office, outpatient, or inpatient setting and includes the full and expected mix of patient problems and surgical approaches.
- Provides “non-trauma” coverage on an “on-call” capacity for Legacy Hospitals.
- Provides office follow up of cancer patients.
- Provides consultation on various cancer related issues.
- Participates in Legacy Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement programs as appropriate for clinical practice.
- Participates on relevant committees as requested.
- Participates in community outreach activities regarding Legacy’s Cancer Services.
- Completes medical records, coding and billing schedules and forms, and other needed paperwork in a timely fashion.
- Works with adult and elderly/geriatric patients.
- Works with other specialists to develop a comprehensive Legacy Cancer program.
Qualifications
- Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent
- Completion of General Surgery residence
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Board fellowship in Surgical Oncology or equivalent experience
