Our highly collaborative culture is built on values that identify ideal team players.

This role supports our entire brand portfolio, including our primary turnkey business, Architectural Fabrication.

Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to provide necessary labor and craftsmanship to fabricate Architectural Fabrication's sheet metal products—including flashing, fascia, standing seam, soffit, gutters, and downspouts—for our clients using safe and efficient methods. You will be essential in providing support to the sheet metal function from preparation to the completion of jobs, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal products such as flashing, fascia, standing seam, soffit, gutters, and downspouts.

  • Perform work in both the shop environment and in the field at construction sites.

  • Utilize and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine fabrication and installation requirements.

  • Measure, mark dimensions, and layout material to be installed using tools such as scribes, rulers, calculators, and squares.

  • Fabricate or alter parts at construction sites using specialized tools like shears, hammers, punches, and drills.

  • Fasten seams and joints together to assemble components into finished products or to repair existing items.

  • Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file, and grind metal surfaces to ensure safety and a seamless appearance.

  • Identify and correct design issues that may affect the quality or strength of the final product.

  • Maintain, diagnose, and repair sheet metal machines including Roll Formers, Folding Machines, and Sheers.

  • Develop plans to solve technical problems and provide input to management regarding team performance.

  • Aid in tracking all components of a job from start to finish to meet project deadlines.

  • Demonstrate the ability to lead by example and treat others with dignity and professionalism.

  • Willingness to visit job sites for installation assistance and field measurements.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a sheet metal shop environment.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • OSHA 30 Certification required.

  • Proven experience in flat sheet layout and installation.

  • Strong math skills and the ability to read and interpret complex blueprints.

  • Physical ability to lift heavy materials and tools up to 50 lbs and comfort working at heights.

  • Valid Driver's License and experience maneuvering trailers preferred.

  • Knowledge of building codes relevant to sheet metal products.

Who You Are
