The Regional Sales Manager will oversee sales performance, team development, and market expansion across the assigned territory. This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to motivate a distributed sales team while maintaining a focus on revenue growth and customer success.
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers across the Western United States.
- Drive profitable sales growth by establishing performance expectations, tracking activity levels, and achieving revenue objectives.
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop additional sales professionals as the regional team expands.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, field visits, customer meetings, ride-alongs, and performance reviews to support team success.
- Create and execute regional sales strategies to penetrate new markets and strengthen existing customer partnerships.
- Collaborate with recruiting and operations teams to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Manage sales forecasts, pipeline activity, CRM accuracy, and reporting processes.
- Analyze sales metrics and develop action plans to improve team performance and business outcomes.
- Support strategic customer presentations, contract discussions, and high-value account development initiatives.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement across the sales organization.
- Partner with executive leadership to support broader growth strategies and regional expansion plans.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales leader with a strong background in staffing, business development, and team management within the skilled trades or construction sector. The role requires proven success leading remote sales teams, developing talent, and driving measurable revenue results.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading, coaching, and developing successful sales teams within the skilled trades, construction staffing, or related staffing industries.
- Demonstrated success recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining high-performing sales professionals.
- Strong understanding of staffing sales processes, business development strategies, customer relationship management, and pipeline management.
- Experience managing geographically distributed sales teams and supporting remote employees.
- Proven ability to develop market expansion strategies and achieve revenue growth targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
- Ability to analyze sales performance data and translate insights into effective improvement strategies.
- Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, though equivalent industry leadership experience will be considered.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience.
