ROBOT WELDER in Clinton Township, Michigan at SYNERGY PROTOTYPE STAMPING, LLC

We are seeking a skilled Robotic Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming robotic welding systems while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Responsibilities

· Operate robotic welding cells to produce high-quality weldments.

· Set up, program, and troubleshoot robotic welding equipment.

· Load and unload parts while maintaining production schedules.

· Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality specifications.

· Perform routine maintenance and preventative care on robotic welding equipment.

· Interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering drawings.

· Adjust welding parameters to optimize weld quality and efficiency.

· Work closely with engineering and quality teams to resolve production issues.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

· Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

· Experience with robotic welding systems (Fanuc preferred).

· Knowledge of MIG welding processes and welding parameters.

· Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

· Experience using precision measuring instruments.

· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus.

Preferred Experience

· 2+ years of robotic welding experience.

· Robot programming and teach pendant experience.

· Fabrication and fixture setup experience.

· Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
