As an Enterprise Dealer Account Executive, you will own strategic relationships with some of the largest automotive dealer groups in the U.S.
You will drive enterprise sales of data and SaaS solutions while developing long-term account strategies.
The role combines new revenue generation, strategic account management, consultative selling, and executive-level relationship building.
You will engage stakeholders across assigned dealer groups, understand their business priorities, and position solutions that address their challenges.
Working closely with product, marketing, sales operations, and customer support teams, you will help deliver strong customer outcomes and sustained revenue growth.
Success requires a deep understanding of automotive retail, enterprise sales cycles, and dealership marketing strategies.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing opportunity with significant autonomy and approximately 50–60% overnight travel to customer locations.
- Develop and execute strategic sales and account plans designed to achieve and exceed revenue targets across assigned automotive dealer groups.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior decision-makers and key business partners.
- Sell data and SaaS solutions using consultative and enterprise sales methodologies, aligning offerings with customers' operational and commercial objectives.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of dealer group priorities, challenges, and online and offline marketing strategies to identify opportunities for growth.
- Lead customer presentations, product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing activities throughout the enterprise sales cycle.
- Expand existing accounts while identifying opportunities for additional products, services, and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, sales operations, customer support, and other internal teams to coordinate account strategies and strengthen customer satisfaction.
- Monitor automotive industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging market opportunities to refine sales strategies and identify new revenue opportunities.
- Maintain accurate account and pipeline information within Salesforce.com and provide visibility into sales performance and forecasts.
- Travel approximately 50–60% overnight to meet with customers and support strategic account engagement.
- 5+ years of enterprise-level sales experience within the automotive industry, with a demonstrated ability to manage and grow large strategic accounts.
- Proven success selling data, SaaS, technology, or other complex solutions to major automotive dealer groups; experience selling to the top 50 U.S. auto dealer groups is required, with established relationships strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales quotas and generating revenue growth within large or enterprise customer accounts.
- Strong understanding of automotive dealerships and their online and offline marketing strategies, business models, and operational priorities.
- Excellent consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with the ability to communicate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities and the credibility to engage effectively with stakeholders at different levels of an organization.
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com or a comparable enterprise CRM platform.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with distributed and cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel overnight approximately 50–60% to customer locations across the United States.
