Position Summary

Neffsville Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is seeking experienced Residential Plumbing Service Technicians to join our growing team in Lancaster, PA.

In this role, you will diagnose, repair, maintain, and install residential plumbing systems while providing homeowners with knowledgeable, professional service. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, takes ownership of each service call, and communicates clearly with customers and team members.

What You'll Do

Residential Plumbing Service & Repair

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot residential plumbing issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations in customers' homes.
  • Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, fixtures, water heaters, and related components.
  • Identify plumbing concerns and communicate appropriate repair or replacement options.
  • Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Customer Service & Communication

  • Deliver a professional, positive customer experience on every service call.
  • Clearly explain plumbing concerns, recommended solutions, and work performed.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, Dispatch, and other team members.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and treat customers' homes with care and respect.
  • Accurately document service findings, completed work, and relevant job information.

Safety & Operational Excellence

  • Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety procedures, and company standards.
  • Properly operate and maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and service vehicles.
  • Maintain an organized, fully stocked service truck.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to strengthen technical skills.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Previous residential plumbing experience as a Service Technician, Apprentice, Journeyman, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, tools, materials, and repair techniques.
  • Ability to diagnose plumbing problems and determine appropriate solutions.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
  • Ability to safely lift, carry, and move tools, equipment, and materials.
  • Dependable, professional, and customer-focused attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Trade school education or plumbing-related certification.
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber license.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience performing residential service and repair work in a customer-facing environment.
Schedule
