Holiday Catering Sales Specialist – Seasonal

Who You Are
You enjoy helping people and creating a great Customer experience. You are comfortable talking with Customers about products, making recommendations, answering questions, and helping them place holiday orders.
You are organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple Customer requests during a fast-paced holiday season.
What You Will Bring
- A passion for providing exceptional Customer Service.
- At least six months of previous Customer Service experience; sales experience is preferred.
- Ability to confidently answer Customer questions and assist with concerns.
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and email.
- Strong time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work varied shifts based on business needs.
- Weekend and holiday availability.
- Availability throughout the holiday season with limited time-off requests.
What You Will Do
The Holiday Catering Sales Specialist supports Plum Market departments during the busy holiday season by helping Customers plan and place their holiday orders.
You will primarily staff our Holiday Ordering area and help generate sales for catering and specialty holiday products, including:
- Catering meals and side dishes.
- Turkeys, hams, and specialty Meat & Seafood items.
- Bakery items including pies, cakes, and dinner rolls.
- Floral products and holiday arrangements.
- Other seasonal and specialty items throughout the store.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Provide exceptional service to internal and external Customers.
- Learn our holiday products and make thoughtful recommendations based on Customer needs.
- Assist Customers with placing and completing holiday orders.
- Follow up on Customer requests in person, by phone, and through email.
- Accurately enter sales and order information.
- Coordinate final order pickup and provide fast, friendly service.
- Proactively resolve Customer concerns whenever possible.
- Communicate Customer questions, feedback, and concerns to Store Leadership.
- Work collaboratively with departments throughout the store to ensure orders are accurate and ready on time.
