Job Description

Position Title: Training Officer 1
Location: Jackson, TN (Hybrid)
Position Type: Hybrid (Contract)
Interview Process: Video Only
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in:
    • Training delivery
    • Adult education
    • Staff development
  • Experience using Microsoft Teams and other virtual training tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong facilitation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to explain technical information clearly to users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and changing environment.
    • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering training in a government, public-sector, or human services environment.
  • Experience training users on computer systems or enterprise applications.
  • Experience developing computer-based training materials.
  • Experience supporting system adoption and user learning.
  • Experience with child welfare, social services, or other human services systems is a plus.
    • Preferred Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Excel – 1–3 years
  • Microsoft PowerPoint – 1–3 years
  • Microsoft Word – 1–3 years
  • Other virtual training and collaboration tools
